Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long-and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. The Operations Manager plays an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care. In this position, the Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operational activities of assigned department(s) to ensure goals are achieved.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handling discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
  • Planning and organizing daily activities related to production and operations.
  • Researching, creating and implementing policies and procedures
  • Measuring productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Coordinating with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
  • Determining labor needs to meet production goals.
  • Assisting with budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Performing other related duties as required.

What you offer:

  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Five years of related experience preferred.
