Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long- and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. The Talent Acquisition Manager will play an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, your focus will be to identify and hire exceptional people for our organization in order to continue striving towards our goal of being the best skilled nursing facility. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will support recruitment at all levels, for both clinical and non-clinical positions. While this role will operate as an independent contributor and does not have immediate people management responsibilities, you will partner closely with the business to help meet our goals, drive accountability, provide coaching from a talent perspective, and increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with senior leaders across the business to identify talent needs and create a talent strategy for both clinical (nursing) and non-clinical positions.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research, sourcing, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Create talent pipelines by utilizing various sourcing channels, networking groups, candidate referrals, university relationships, and other recruitment marketing ideas.
  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates via phone screens.
  • Develop sourcing strategies that continually replenish the candidate pipeline based on market conditions and the needs of the business.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for candidate applications, phone screens, and interviews/feedback in applicant tracking system (iSolved)
  • Partner with HR Assistant on candidate documentation collection and other pre-hire onboarding requirements.
  • Partner with the People team to drive efficiencies for candidate tracking, on-boarding, and overall candidate experience.
  • Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives including, but not limited to interview technique training and candidate experience surveys.
  • Partner with the People team to understand succession gaps and necessary talent pools.

What you offer:

  • A minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience focused on candidate sourcing, interviewing and hiring.
  • Prior experience as a clinical nurse OR recruiting in the healthcare space specifically for clinical positions such as nursing at all levels.
  • While this is a communications based role, an eye for talent analytics is a plus! (candidate data and reporting)
  • Must be comfortable with high volume recruiting. A background in agency recruitment is a plus!
  • Experience partnering and managing relationships with multiple vendors for additional recruitment support.
  • Exceptional communication,organizational and follow-up skills are required for this role. You thrive on the challenge of balancing multiple projects in a fast paced and time-sensitive environment.
  • As a professional in Talent Acquisition, you will have a strong level of resiliency.
  • Expert level working in applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and the ability to think creatively in order to drive new talent sources.
  • Experience or understanding of working with a unionized population is a plus.

  • Unexpired verification of US citizenship
